About The Blog…

“For much deliberation” is one Trinidadian geographer’s attempt to compile as much geographical information as possible from existing internet resources.

No; there’s no particular goal in pursuing this activity, however, exploring the ‘tags’ or ‘geographical elements’ as they are here called, does make for rather interesting reading and you are guaranteed some element of new knowledge in taking up on such a venture.

Due to geography’s diversity, any information source attempting to cover its varying themes can by no means ever be complete. Thus here, and as a result of individual specialisation and interests, information may seem limited. Most information posted therefore, provides links to more in-depth sources. Information and ideas range from books I read to current affairs with a focus on environmental news and development issues. I have attempted to arrange all the posts into categories and there is also the home page ‘tag cloud’ for easy access to articles.

About The Blogger…

I’m a geographer who has been involved in the environmental conservation and built environment arenas for the past 18 years, with experience in NGO management and organisational development. My knowledge and interests range from geomorphology to protected areas management and from human individual development to elements of politics and governance. Professional interactions throughout the past years have also enabled a range of philosophical views particularly those specific to individualism which I believe contribute, by extension, to societal and national development.

I’m also a writer of prose poetry… my poems highlight my views on individualism, free-thought, human development, society, culture, and traditions, in all my work I aim to highlight the importance of individual choice and rational decision making.
